Description of the role: SDM Transport is currently seeking experienced Car-Hauling dispatchers to join our team in Lake Bluff, Illinois. As a Car-Hauling dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of vehicles, ensuring timely delivery, and managing driver schedules. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule the transportation of vehicles, ensuring efficient delivery and pick-up
• Communicate with drivers to provide them with necessary information and instructions
• Monitor driver schedules, making adjustments as needed
• Track and update the status of vehicle shipments in real-time
• Resolve any issues or delays in transportation, working closely with drivers and other relevant parties
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vehicle transportation activities

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Car-Hauling dispatcher is required
• Strong knowledge of the transportation industry and car-hauling operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
