ServiceNow Application Developer

Location: Washington DC must be local onsite in Washington DC
Duration: 3 Years with possible extensions





Job Description

• We are seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer to support maintain and enhance its ServiceNow platform which is instrumental in executing managing and maintaining business functions.

What Youll Do

• • Provide functional and technical support for the clients ServiceNow platform
  • Conduct daytoday operational and maintenance activities
  • Address and resolve issues involving defects bugs and errors
  • Engage in business analysis and requirements gathering for enhancements
  • Execute both planned and urgent enhancement work within tight deadlines
  • Perform standard platform/system administration tasks including user group and role record management system access auditing and documentation authoring
  • Support the development and maintenance of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM Security Operations Strategic Portfolio Management ITOM and IT Asset Management
  • Integrate ServiceNow with thirdparty systems from vendors including Microsoft Dell Absolute Broadcom and Oracle

What Youll Need

Required:

• • 35 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration
  • Proficient in ServiceNow platform administration including auditing and update set migration
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining various ServiceNow modules and in creating workflows forms and managing CMDB data
  • Capable of integrating ServiceNow with various thirdparty systems
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to manage projects efficiently and deliver on time
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

Preferred:

• • Knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript HTML CSS)
  • Familiarity with quality assurance best practices and methodologies
  • Agile and Scrum methodology experience for iterative development and deployment
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certifications in ITIL or project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum

Physical Demands:

• • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
